D-Day Commemoration
The Vice President helped the Administration commemorate the
50th anniversary of the Normandy invasion.
On June 6, 1994, he spoke at Arlington Cemetery about the sacrifices
that American servicemen made during the invasion. He then introduced
the President who spoke from the beaches of Normandy.
