Technology Strategies for Environmental Protection
Vice President Gore has led the initiative to develop and produce
technologies that protect the environment and promote economic
growth. For example, the Vice President unveiled the report
"Technology for a Sustainable Future," which laid out strategic
directions and possible next steps for developing a new
generation of technologies that will reduce pollution, increase
business opportunities in the industry, and improve U.S.
competitiveness.
